Terms
What we undertake to do, what stays yours, and how either side stops. The commercial part is settled and is written below; the formal wording is not, and the unfinished parts are marked.
This text is not finished. What is written below is true and is what we actually do today; the parts that still need a lawyer are marked, and nothing on this page is presented as a contract until they are settled. If something here matters to you before then, ask us and you will get a straight answer.

What we do
- We transcribe the menu you already have: every dish, every price and every half portion.
- We list the 14 EU allergens dish by dish, marked as suggested until the restaurant confirms them.
- We translate dish names, descriptions, ingredients and allergens into four languages. Category headings stay as the restaurant wrote them.
- We generate an image for each dish from its real ingredient list, and you approve every one.
- We publish the menu behind a QR code that does not change, and print the cards for the tables.
- We keep it current: one message is enough, and we make the change the same day.
What it costs
The setup once, then the monthly, with the first month free — the figures are on the pricing page and there are no others. Nothing is charged before you have seen your menu and said yes. There is no contract and no minimum term.
Looking costs nothing
The whole menu: every dish, four languages, the 14 allergens dish by dish, and an image on every dish. We make it, we show it to you, and you decide only after you have seen it.
Restaba
€199 to set up, once · €29/month · first month free
The setup: the whole menu transcribed, the 14 allergens dish by dish, four languages, and an image on every dish. Done by us.
The €29/month is a person: the menu changed, one message is enough, and we update it the same day.
This is not software — it is a person.
No contract. Just say you want to stop — and we stop that day.
The menu is yours
The dishes, the prices, the descriptions and the ingredient lists are the restaurant's, before and after we transcribe them. If you leave, what we transcribed goes with you. The images we generate stay with the restaurant to use on its menu, and you can replace any of them with your own at any time — on exactly what terms is one of the parts marked below.
Stopping
Just say you want to stop, and we stop. No notice period and no cancellation form. The menu is unpublished the same day you ask, and the QR code stops resolving to it.
The images
Every dish image is generated by computer from that dish's real ingredient list, is approved by the restaurant before it is published, and is disclosed to the diner wherever it appears. The whole rule has its own page.
About the imagesAllergens stay the restaurant's responsibility
The software suggests allergens and marks them as suggested until the restaurant confirms them. Confirmation is the restaurant's judgement, and responsibility for allergen information sits with the restaurant under Regulation (EU) 1169/2011. This is a tool, not a legal opinion.
Still being written
Who you are contracting with
The registered name, number and address of the company on the other side of this agreement. Unwritten until there is an incorporated company — until then the agreement is directly with the person providing the service.
Payment and invoicing terms
When each amount falls due, how invoices are issued, what happens to a month already paid for, and how VAT is handled.
Liability and availability
What we are responsible for if the menu is unreachable, and the limits on that. A lawyer will write this part.
Rights in the images
On exactly what terms the images we generate stay with the restaurant, and what happens to them if the service stops. What is written above is what we do; the binding wording will be written by a lawyer.
